Signing in for the first time

Use your school account to sign in. This is the same school identity used for ClassLink and Microsoft services.

First sign-in checklist

1. Connect to WiFi if the laptop asks for a network. In school, your laptop should normally use CLM-Secure automatically.
2. Enter your school email address when asked.
3. Enter your school password.
4. Wait while Windows finishes preparing your account. The first sign-in can take longer than normal.
5. Open ClassLink once you reach the desktop and check that your main school apps appear.

If it does not work

• Check that your email address is typed correctly.
• Make sure Caps Lock is not on.
• Restart the laptop and try again.
• If you are still stuck, speak to your form tutor.
